As long as you keep feed in a cool, dark climate (preferably in an air tight container if possible) it should last you up to 6 months without any issues. Keeping feed out of direct sunlight keeps it cooler, but also humidity will play a factor on the shelf life of our feed products.

The feed is always made fresh. If you ordered it directly from our website or picked up from our warehouse, it is no older than a week. We always make it fresh and turn over inventory quickly to ensure your feed is as fresh as possible. If you order feed directly from our Feed Mill to pick up, we usually assign a day to pick up and it will either be made that day, or the day before. Again, freshness and quality of ingredients are our number one priority to keeping our customers satisfied and coming back to McGeary Organics!

Yes. Niacin, also known as Vitamin B3 is in all of our feeds. It is not an ingredient (or mineral) we add in separately, but rather in the feed ingredients we use. If you ever need to know an exact percentage in your feed, please check your feed label or call/email us and we can give you any exact figure you need on trace elements in your feed!
